1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using HouseMinder (the \"App\"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. App License and Usage

Sapient Ape Games, LLC grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use HouseMinder strictly in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

You may:

• Use the app for personal, non-commercial home maintenance purposes
• Install the app on devices you own or control
• Sync your data through Apple iCloud

You may not:

• Distribute or make the app available over a network
• Reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

You retain ownership of all data you input into HouseMinder, including:

• Home maintenance schedules and records
• Task completion history and notes
• Supply inventory information
• Photos and attachments
• Custom settings and preferences

All your data remains on your devices and in your private Apple iCloud account. We do not access, store, or process your personal data on our servers.

HouseMinder is designed with privacy by default. Your data is stored locally on your device and synced through Apple iCloud using Apple's encryption and security standards. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data handling.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal activities
• Attempt to circumvent premium features without purchase
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
• Use the app in a way that could damage or overburden Apple's services
• Share your premium access with unauthorized users
• Extract or harvest data for commercial purposes

IMPORTANT: HouseMinder provides general maintenance scheduling and tracking tools. The app does not provide professional advice.

• Always consult qualified professionals for safety-critical maintenance
• Verify all maintenance recommendations with manufacturer guidelines
• We are not responsible for damages resulting from maintenance activities
• Use your own judgment regarding maintenance timing and procedures

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep HouseMinder available and functional, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical difficulties
• Apple App Store policies
• Force majeure events

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• HouseMinder is provided \"as is\" without warranties
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for premium features
• We are not responsible for property damage resulting from maintenance activities
• You use the app's maintenance suggestions at your own risk

10. Intellectual Property

HouseMinder and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Sapient Ape Games, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The HouseMinder name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Sapient Ape Games, LLC.

11. Updates and Modifications

We may update HouseMinder and these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates may include:

• New features and improvements
• Security enhancements
• Bug fixes and performance improvements
• Changes to premium features

Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.

12. Termination

This agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by:

• Deleting the app from your devices
• Cancelling any active subscriptions

We may terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the app and delete all copies.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Washington State.
