HouseMinder is designed as a completely local application where all your personal data stays on your devices and in your private Apple iCloud account. HouseMinder follows a "zero data collection" approach. We never receive, access, or store any of your personal data on our servers.

Who We Are

Sapient Ape Games, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the HouseMinder mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our App.

HouseMinder stores all information locally or on your device and syncs it to your private Apple iCloud account:

None – generated on your device

Since all data stays on your devices:

We cannot access your home maintenance data
We cannot share your information with third parties
Your data never leaves Apple's ecosystem
No analytics or tracking data is collected

Notifications

If you choose to enable notifications:

Reminders are generated locally on your device
No notification data is sent to our servers
You can disable notifications anytime in Settings

Your data security comes from:

Apple's iCloud encryption and security
Local device storage protection
No transmission to third-party servers

Data Rights

Since we don't collect personal information:

All your data remains under your control
You can delete the app and data anytime
No data export needed (it's already yours)
No account deletion required (we don't have accounts)

Since we don't process personal data:

All data stays in your Apple iCloud region

Children's Privacy

HouseMinder doesn't collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Since all data stays local, COPPA regulations don't apply to our data handling.
